Lucas Paleocrassas was born and raised in Greece. He has directed documentaries for television and the cinema, which have been screened at international festivals and major educational institutions, including the Sapienza University of Rome and New York University. Citizen Xenos, his first feature-length documentary premiered in 2018 at the 20th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and was nominated for the Amnesty International award.
